My name is Melanie, and I have been practicing therapy for over five years. I originally wanted to be a therapist because I love people and believe they are incredibly resilient. I believe that diversity is an important part of who we all are, and I enjoy learning about people and their backgrounds. My goal is to help and support my clients to live healthier lives. My personal experiences have given me a desire to work with military individuals and their families. I also enjoy helping premarital couples start on the right path in their marriage. In addition to these areas, I have experience working with adolescents and their families; treating anxiety, depression, and trauma; and working with a broad range of couple- and family-based difficulties. Lastly, I am fluent in English, Portuguese, and Spanish.
Hi, I’m Heather and I specialize in helping individuals, couples, and families navigate through their relational, emotional, and behavioral challenges of life. I believe we all deeply wish to connect, heal, and live a life of meaning and purpose. A willingness to embark on a journey of transformation takes courage, and I deeply respect those willing to engage in that process with me. I have effectively supported my clients through many issues such as: relational and emotional difficulties, trauma, sexuality, betrayal, grief/loss, self-worth, parenting, identity, life transitions, faith issues, premarital, women’s issues, and more. I have a fierce love of learning, traveling, and enjoying the outdoors! I look forward to meeting and guiding you through the process of designing the kind of life you envision for yourself.
Hello, I’m Emily, and I love working with couples and families, including teens and their parents. I know it can be difficult to navigate relationships, feel connected to your partner, experience depression and anxiety, face a faith challenge, or to deal with a past trauma. It can feel difficult to know what steps to take to find peace and balance again. I believe in your ability to change and will meet you where you are at so you can accomplish your goals. I am trained in Level 1 and Level 2 Gottman Method Couples Therapy as well as Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), a protocol involving eye movements that provides extra help for trauma issues. I also use several evidence-based approaches for working with teens and couples.
